Not every child star story must end in tragedy, and Mini Anden, born Suzanna Anden on February 13, 1978, is living proof. Discovered at the age of 10 by her schoolteacher's daughter, the Stockholm, Sweden, native signed with Elite and experienced immediate success.
Perhaps one of the most famous faces to come out of Sweden, Anden has decorated the covers of countless top international magazines, such as German Vogue, Italian ELLE, and British GQ, which named her "sexiest girl in the world." She's lent her uber sex appeal to successful campaigns for prestigious brands including Hugo Boss, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Donna Karan.
While many try but few succeed, Mini's film debut in 2004 with "Point & Shoot" led to more work. She's since appeared in "Ocean's Twelve," "Prime," and made guest appearances on hit TV series "Monk," "Entourage," and "Ugly Betty." Anden also hosts "Scandinavia's Next Top Model." The flaxen beauty's most recent credits include "Tropic Thunder" and "My Best Friend's Girl."
The face of Armani fragrance Code believes in the power of giving back and uses her celebrity to advance causes like Operation Smile, a nonprofit that helps children born with cleft palettes and other facial deformities.
The model-turned-actress wed fellow model Taber Schroeder in 2001. The pair splits their time between New York and Los Angeles with their two dogs. If the last 20 years is any indicator, we hope Mini's prepared for a long career.
