How can I take my look from day to night?

Here's an easy trick: To take your natural daytime look to night, line the inside of your eye (the water line) with a dark pencil. This will give you an instant sultry look. Take your daytime eye shadow—all you need is one color—and freshen up your eyelid and underneath your bottom lashes. This will add that smoky effect. Add a fresh coat of lip gloss, and you're ready to go!

How can I make my lips appear fuller?

You must err on the side of caution with this because you don't want it to look too obvious that you're enhancing your pout. Use a natural color lip liner (one close to your own lip color) and line the outside of your lip—this is usually enough. Then fill in the entire lip area with the same pencil, adding a second coating with your choice of lipstick or gloss.

What are the dos and don'ts of eyebrow grooming and shading?

We want to enhance the shape of our eyebrows so they become better frames for our eyes. Don't just darken the brows that you do have—practice strengthening the shape with your brow pencil. Just be sure you don't overdo it: You might only need to add just a little color to the top of the arch or to the end of the brow.

What's the best way to line my bottom lashes so it won't smudge during the day?
