Fashion's Night Out 2009

In a global initiative to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, and raise money for charity, the fashion community around the world united for an amazing evening that included shopping, inventive window displays, celebrity appearances, and supermodels rocking out.

Modelinia jumped at the chance to be part of such an amazing evening and hosted a party at Barney's where Coco Rocha's new music video debuted. She got a chance to unleash her inner rock star with her fellow catwalkers.

It wasn't long before Alexander Wang got in on the fun.

Coco and Sessilee Lopez make beautiful music together at Modelinia's Fashion's Night Out party.

While Coco and her pals were rocking out at Barneys with Modelinia, Zac Posen was busy readying a live store window starring Anna Cleveland.

Phillip Lim celebrated the night with his friend and muse Irina Lazareanu by his side.

At his boutique, Phillip unveiled five new designs based on previous pieces from his archive. All have been updated with new fabrics and embellishments "to suit the Fall season" and to fit Irina perfectly. How convenient!

She'll take it!

Before they set out for their Perry Street event, the models of the Teen Vogue fashion show indulged in a guilty pleasure—ice cream—from the Van Leeuwen artisan ice cream truck parked outside the Aveda store.

Fashion fan Mischa Barton helped her friends at Tom Binns celebrate the evening as they awaited Harley Viera Newton's arrival. Harley was the boutique's personal DJ for the night.

New Yorkers weren't the only ones having fun for Fashion's Night Out. In London, models Daisy Lowe and Alice Dellal attended Vogue and Burberry's cocktail reception.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also stopped by to support the cause.

As did Claudia Schiffer.

Spanish model Clara Alonso attended events in Madrid, Spain.

And in Milan, model turned actress Eva Herzigova attended a Fashion's Night Out celebration at the Giorgio Armani boutique wearing Vogue's global celebration T-shirt specially designed just for the evening.

German model Franziska Knuppe represented Berlin at the Montblanc store in Germany.

Also in London, Jacquetta Wheeler stepped out on the town for Burberry's event.

As did Natalia Vodianova.

Meanwhile in France, Jean Paul Gaultier attended Vogue's fashion celebration night at his own store.

Models Arlenis Sosa and Heather Marks attended the CFDA and Tiffany & Co. celebration of Fashion's Night Out at Tiffany & Co. in matching leather skirts and button-downs.

Supermodel & Expectant mom Karolina Kurkova hosts a celebration in honor of Fashion`s Night Out, the rebirth of shopping & the launch of the The Observer Playground, A magazine for the quintessential New York City parent by the New York Observer, at DKNY`s Madison Avenue store.
