Sometimes runway mishaps don't include falls and trips. While there's security at fashion shows, some crashers find ways to get past the men in uniform. In this case PETA members actually took the runway. But not even the fur protesters could take the focus away from Gisele at the 2002 Victoria's Secret show.

Even in between signs and protesters, Gisele maintains her poise and stays focused on the task at hand.

Could you walk down a shiny runway with lights in your eyes while balancing on teeny tiny stilettos without a stumble?

Isabeli Fontana may have twisted her ankle at Baby Phat's Spring 2005 show, but she kept her cool; she picked herself right back up to continue strutting.

Shoes aren't the only evildoers on the runway. At the 2006 Michael Kors show, a cape proved to be slightly dangerous for Carmen Kass.

But just like a superhero she pulled through and kept walking despite the long hem and her tangled legs.

As if navigating the runway empty-handed wasn't hard enough: Vivienne Westwood gave her girls watering cans to manage for her Spring 2007 collection, which (paired with her notoriously high heels) made it hard for the girls to maintain their balance.

Jessica Stam might have turned her ankle on the glitter-adorned runway at the 2007 Victoria's Secret show, but each mishap is just another opportunity for a pose. And Jessica does just that.

Sometimes the shoes just do not work. On Dsquared2's Fall 2008 runway, the heels were so painful and impossible that it was better to improvise and slip them off instead.

Couture gowns are heavy! Add that to Karolina Kurkova's long Versace hem at the 2002 show and there's a problem in the making.

Chanel Iman is a pro on the runway. But—as you know—just because you're a pro doesn't mean you are invincible.

At Peter Som's Spring 2009 show Chanel took a little slip. Slowly, she got up...

...and gave the crowd a little balance beam strut. What a trooper!

Brüno storms Fashion Week! For his movie, Sacha Baron Cohen's character took over the Agatha Ruiz de la Prada show in Milan, but the girls walked right on by without so much as a blink in his direction.

He continued his walk down the runway despite security's attempts to remove him...

...and the model just saunters right past him, totally in the moment and handling her job under pressure.

Brüno's back at his antics at the Jean-Charles de Castelbajac show, but this model is not having it. Walk on!
