Supermodel Karolina Kurkova credits being beautiful with creating balance in her life. "The beauty comes with the balance. Everyone should find his own balance in his personal as well as his professional life. Once you do so, you will feel and look beautiful."

Kate Moss has been a style icon for decades. Her secret to looking good? Knowing what she likes. "I'm not a designer. I've never been to school or been trained. I can't draw a dress, really. But I know what I like. I love clothes. I know how clothes should fit and feel. When I would go to shoots, stylists would say to me, 'You really should do something. You should take it another step.'"

Cindy Crawford has learned to love who she has become as a woman, rather than how she looks. "I'm more comfortable with myself in the sense that, Hey, this is who I am now. I guess I appreciate my body for other things—like I was able to give birth to two kids."

Ever the model role model, Iman believes that true beauty isn’t just skin deep. “A self-esteem issue doesn't change whether you're considered beautiful or not because it's about what's inside you.”

Victoria's Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio's confidence contributes to her sexiness. "Take care of yourself, be healthy, and always believe you can be successful in anything you truly want."

Alessandra's best friend and fellow Brazilian model Ana Beatriz Barros is proud of her roots and credits her homeland as the source for her sexy attitude. "It is a sexy country. We are very free with our bodies."

Elle Macpherson says that women should embrace their beauty instead of trying to mask or change it. "It's not vanity to feel you have a right to be beautiful. Women are taught to feel we're not good enough, that we must live up to someone else's standards. But my aim is to cherish myself as I am."

Even though she is one of the most famous supermodels ever, Gisele Bündchen doesn't consider herself a fashion icon. "I work in fashion, but I'm not really a fashion person. I don't follow trends. I couldn't tell you which designer made that shoe or that bag. I like jeans."
