To the surprise of all—even Heidi Klum—Seal announced that the couple were expecting an addition to their family during his concert at Madison Square Garden back in April. And throughout her pregnancy, Heidi showed off her growing bump, especially on the Emmy's red carpet in a curve-hugging black gown.

Year after year, the ING New York City Marathon brings out devoted runners and touching stories. This year, Veronica Webb decided it was time to conquer the marathon. She teamed up with Harlem United and practiced the Jeff Galloway method.

Inès de la Fressange proved that runways aren't just for the youngsters, as Jean Paul Gaultier chose the 51-year-old model turned designer and muse to take part in his Spring 2009 collection.

Since her due date fell so close to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, it was assumed Heidi would only host the show. But the supermodel is always full of surprises: She strutted out onto the runway all smiles during the Enchanted Forest section.

'Twas the year of supermodel babies. Adriana Lima not only got married to her longtime boyfriend Marko Jaric this year, but she announced that she was expecting her first child as well. Her little girl Valentina was born on November 15, 2009.

After two weddings and consistent rumors of pregnancy, Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady finally announced that she was expecting. The new family welcomed a little boy named Benjamin on December 8, 2009.

Another supermodel spawn during 2009! Karolina Kurkova and fiancé, Archie Drury, welcomed son Tobin Jack Drury to their family on October 29th.

By now you’ve probably noticed our penchant for videos. Specifically videos with models as the subject. So you can imagine our excitement to film a music video to Jet’s song “She’s a Genius” starring none other than Coco Rocha. Not only did it show just another typical day in the life of a model, but it also was broadcast in taxi’s all over New York City during Fashion Week Spring 2010!

Though the Costume Institute puts on their Met Gala year after year, this one held a special place in Modelinia's heart, as the theme was "The Model as Muse," celebrating the tireless models in the fashion industry and their achievements.
