So, yeah. So, it's really exciting. I mean, meeting Jenna and sort of getting together and talking about this whole plan that we had, you know, doing the catalogue and then also talking about LemLem and doing the line with them, I think it's super exciting. The catalogue looks great. The pictures are really beautiful. I'm very happy with them. And we're getting a lot of feedback from the pictures as well. So, it's exciting.
JENNA LYONS
It was one of those things where we never really worked with Liya before. We wanted to work with her. And, and we felt like if we were gonna really make a statement, we wanted to kind of go big, you know? And, so, we worked with her and we really talked it through. And we felt like it might be more of an impact to have her really be in the entire catalogue. And, for us, what we loved about it was, I think, it felt really spirited and fun, white caught between the colors, really great little shots of neon. And also, you know, I think we love the idea of actually traveling instead of wearing, you know, sort of maybe something you picked up in Mexico with a buttoned down blue shirt. And her clothes have a little bit of that ethnic feel to them, but I think they look great with the classic tailoring of J.Crew and what we have in our kids' line.
LIYA KEBEDE
Well, I've been a goodwill ambassador with the WHO for the last, uh, since 2005. And, I've been doing, basically trying to raise awareness on maternal health issues. What's happening is, in a lot of poor countries, women don't get basic health care. So, what happens is they deliver at home by themselves. They, they die during childbirth and delivery. Childbirth should be this joyous moment that a woman has. So, I think talking about it helps a lot and, and raising the awareness of it, and volunteering, and donating to organizations that are dealing with maternal health issues, and mother's issues, and girls' issues, and women's issues. It's something that we've hoped for. And now that it's come true, it's really wonderful.
I love seeing the clothes in the store. I think they look so beautiful. And it's a great, it's a great collaboration. I really like working with them. They've been very supportive and really cool and kind of, um, very, uh, visionary in a way about it, which is quite interesting. And for us, it's a great, it's a great product.
