ALI STEPHENS
Though sometimes you can feel a little, not out of place, but just missing home a lot. So it's nice to come home to her and have a little piece of home with me everywhere I go.

Me and my mom have a really cute studio apartment that we have in New York that I always try to come home to. I just got back from my photo shoot, so here I am. One of the things I really like about the apartment was the walls. I really like how it's striped. It reminded me of this house in Utah that I used to babysit at.

ALI'S MOM
Did they have lunch?

ALI STEPHENS
After shoot.

ALI'S MOM
Yum! Would you like to have dessert?

ALI STEPHENS
Hot chocolate.

ALI'S MOM
Okey, dokey!

ALI STEPHENS
All my best friends in modeling have their moms travel with them or have somebody from their family to travel with them. So, it's kind of fun when we're on the same place because we're just a big family together.

ALI'S MOM
One of the things that we do when we come to New York is we always need to make sure that we have like fruit, and diet coke, and pickles.

ALI STEPHENS
These are my favorite things.

I'm going to go check my schedule for tomorrow.

ALI'S MOM
Okay.

She's a successful model but she's also my daughter, and it's important that she just remain balanced and tethered to the things that are important in this life. One of the things that we do is we meditate. We practice transcendental meditation.

ALI STEPHENS
So, when we wake up, me and my mom do it together. Every member of our family knows how to meditate. I learned when I was ten years old. And my dad is the teacher.

ALI'S MOM
I hadn't thought that each of us know how to meditate.

ALI STEPHENS
He thought...

She's kind of there when I, you know, just want to get home from shoots.

ALI'S MOM
One of our favorite things to do is like...

Watch Gossip Girl, or 90210, or Hanna Montana.

ALI'S MOM
We have a lot of fun together. They're cherished time.

ALI STEPHENS
This is our life.
