ANGELA HIGHSMITH
My husband and I are both models, so we're all three models, a model family. (LAUGH) It's a great career. It's actually really great to be a mother and be a model. We went to the French Alps together this summer on a job of mine. It's just, it's such a rich childhood experience. Having my child so young and so early in my career really defined a lot in terms, other than my life but just my career. I didn’t really understand the magnitude of what it meant. I was just happy to be pregnant.

LEILANI
I'm making my special snack, freaky applesauce.

ANGELA
It's not freaky applesauce, chunky applesauce. (LAUGH)

LEILANI
Oh.

ANGELA
It's really good actually.

LEILANI
We love it.

ASIO
Hey. Is that my favorite chunky applesauce that Leilani makes? (LAUGH) Okay. I have to go. Bye.

ANGELA
(OVERLAPPING) Bye.

And that was a Polaroid for a family shoot that we did. This was for Glamour magazine. She was three months old. Leilani looked at the camera the whole shoot. She was a very good model. (LAUGH) Leilani did three campaigns for Ralph Lauren. She was just so adorable. She really loves Betty Boop.

LEILANI
She goes like, (MAKES NOISE).

ANGELA
She's also very stylish. She was born stylish. That little girl has more style in her pinky than I have in my entire body. Here are Leilani's favorite clothes, little miss style bug, little fashionista. We got this in India, it's an Indian sari.

LEILANI
This is one of my favorite bating suits.

ANGELA
It's a little bit much but we caught it on Robertson Boulevard in the alleyway. (LAUGH) These are just some little Prada shoes. Leilani loves them. Every time I turn around she takes them and walks around the house with them, and she even asked me if she can wear them when she's 16.

LEILANI
Mommy, I grew last night. (LAUGH)

ANGELA
I think it’s great. I think she's, she's growing up in a great environment.

LEILANI
I love my mom.
