ELETTRA WIEDEMANN
Hi, my name is Elettra Wiedemann and today we are in New York City and we're at the Morgan Hotel on Madison Avenue.

My boyfriend and I, we started kind of a porthole to a charity called Solar Electric Light Fund Self.org, which is run by my father's best friend from high school. He told us about this hospital in Burundi and they have very little infrastructure in the country and virtually no electricity.

And they have been voted the poorest country in the world by the World Bank, but one of the biggest problems for them is the lack of hospitals and health care, because without electricity you don't get to sterilize your instruments, you don't get to do x-rays, you don't have telecommunications and lights at night to do operations, help women give birth, you know, any of those things that we just take for granted.

So, they need $450,000 to put solar panels on the roof of this hospital and provide 60,000 people who currently don't have access to either health care or electricity, with both. The idea behind Just One Frickin' Day was that big sums of money if you broke them down into lots of people in smaller sums were actually really attainable. I think it was, if we had 5,000 people donate $82 we could hit that target.

And I also got six of my designer friends who are there regardless to design one of a kind t-shirts and only a hundred of each are printed and they are some of the biggest names in the industry, you got Azrouël, Rag and Bone, Phillip Lim, Chris Benz, Giambattista Valli. And we have about eight total.

Basically until we hit $450,000 we're not going to stop and that's why we're here tonight.
