Modeling is great because it opens so many doors. Had I not been in the business, I wouldn't have been able to do all these new projects. Chick With Guns started with a graphic design of our logo which my friend, who's a graphic designer, did. We're like, this is just so cool, we got to put it somewhere. And then we're watching, uh, Scarface. And he says, "My goal in life is to get my name on a chick's ass." So, we just thought it was funny and we're like, let's just make jeans and put this logo on someone’s ass. We started with one pair of jeans in three different colors. And now we have shorts, we have dresses, we have jackets, leather, sweaters, T-shirts. We have tank top dresses, and I wear them all day, every day. All our pieces are pretty basic, and you can mix and match it up with anything else that you own, designer, vintage, whatever. It's just key pieces for people's personal style.
It’s crazy. From an idea and all of a sudden you have a full line, it's pretty cool. The thing is, is that when you work in fashion, you do this for so long, all of a sudden you kind of look back and you’re like, okay, what did I really create? Nothing. Okay. So I want to create something. And for me, I just kind of started all these different projects just to see, like, what I liked and what I was good at. And, you know, hopefully I don’t just have to stay within the little, hi, I'm May, I'm a model, you know?
