LISA CANT
Hello, I'm Lisa Cant. Come on in.
This is where I hangout and relax and watch TV and just chill. And this is my kitchen. It's very--it's very nice and sleek and modern.
I don’t cook, like, I make like really simple, easy things, you know what I mean, like spaghetti.
And it's great for those few occasions that I do cook.
This is my dining room table that I use as a desk. I have my computer, I have some candles here, all my books and many, many papers that I don’t really need anymore, but they’re still laying out.
So, today, I am registering for school for the next semester. I picked my classes. I've chosen geology 1, like an earth science, which is actually what my parents do. My family is very academic. I mean, my parents both have their PhDs and I have one sister who's getting her PhD now in Anthropology. So, they’re obviously very proud that I'm going back to school and stuff. Hopefully, I get an A. And then I’m taking a music class, masterpieces of western music and calculus.
I think I’m going to study economics. I do not really know what to do with my career yet. I think it's quite early. I'll figure out the job later.
So, I chose Columbia because of its location in New York, obviously. So, I live here and work here and--I mean, I love the campus. It's so beautiful out there. I mean, at first, you know, I will be sitting in class, and kind of be, like, looking at my watch, thinking, okay, what am I going to be doing tomorrow, thinking about things for tomorrow and you kind of need to focus on school whereas when you're modeling, maybe your mind can kind of drift here and there and then you think about different things, but I kind of gotten more into the habit of focusing on what I'm doing.
And I have class up there, kind of, soon, and that’s it. I come up here and it's very beautiful and it's a great place to be.
And now, I'm off to class.
