Hi. I'm Julie Henderson. I'm here at fitness guru, David Kirsch's studio. And David trains some of the best butts and bodies in the business, including mine. Almost, after today.
DAVID KIRSCH:
Hey Julie, how are you?
JULIE HENDERSON:
I'm good. How are you?
DAVID KIRSCH:
Good to see you.
JULIE HENDERSON:
Alright. So tell me, what are we working on today?
DAVID KIRSCH:
Legs, butt and abs.
JULIE HENDERSON:
You're going to get Kirsched.
DAVID KIRSCH:
Kirsched. The first we going to do, reverse lunges with a torso turn. Before you start, your brain is going to go right down in your butt and you're going to really think about what you're doing. Make sure your breathing. Arms straight out and the core is tight. You're going to step back and rotate over and come back center.
JULIE HENDERSON:
Okay.
DAVID KIRSCH:
Good, hold it. Here's the key, okay. You're brain is in your butt.
JULIE HENDERSON:
Yes.
DAVID KIRSCH:
So you're working right here. Feel that?
JULIE HENDERSON:
Uh huh.
DAVID KIRSCH:
Go to the other side.
JULIE HENDERSON:
Good.
DAVID KIRSCH:
Go. Nice. Good. One more each side.
JULIE HENDERSON:
Oh my goodness.
DAVID KIRSCH:
Go, it's all about a perfect butt. And one more time. Alright, we're not going to let Julie step foot on the beach without having really tight toned abs. My favorite exercise is stability ball handoffs. I've got a ball here ready. Julie is ready to go. She looks like she's already sunning on the beach. But too, too soon. Ready? Let's go. Bring it up, hold it. Hold it.
JULIE HENDERSON:
Oh, okay.
DAVID KIRSCH:
Now down and come right back up. Arms over your head. And again, lift your back up.
JULIE HENDERSON:
Oh my God.
DAVID KIRSCH:
Come on. Good.
JULIE HENDERSON:
Yeah, it's really hard.
DAVID KIRSCH:
Alright. Give me one. Okay, ready to go. Nice, much better. Bring it down. And come right back up. Good. Bring your legs up higher. Really contracting the abs. Bring it up, bring it up, bring it up. Alright.
JULIE HENDERSON:
Okay.
DAVID KIRSCH:
Now here's the idea. What were you feeling? All in your core. Right, you want to keep the contractions in your abs. Again, you're going to be on the beach.
JULIE HENDERSON:
I know.
DAVID KIRSCH:
You got to get ready for like muscle men. Down there, I seem 'em over there.
JULIE HENDERSON:
Okay.
DAVID KIRSCH:
He's tall, he's smart.
JULIE HENDERSON:
Great. Oh, shut up. Okay. Now trust me when I say this. That my legs were shaking and hurting from one movement. You should try it. It really works
