We like him. I'm Damaris Lewis, and I am currently here with Nick Jonas. And I'll ask him a couple of questions for you Modelinia fans out there. On your off time, your favorite hobbies to do?
NICK JONAS
Big sports fan.
DAMARIS LEWIS
Nice.
NICK JONAS
(STAMMERS) Any kind of sport. Basically, I call up a friend and if there's an opportunity to go play sports, I'm down, uh, baseball, specifically, and golf. We live in a golf course in Texas. So, it's, uh, it's a good way to spend, spend some time.
DAMARIS LEWIS
Yankees or Mets?
NICK JONAS
Yankees, all the way. It was, uh, I was in Europe while the World Series was going on, and so I had to watch from there. I stayed up till 5:00, 6:00 in the morning (UNINTELLIGIBLE) to watch the game.
DAMARIS LEWIS
Do you have any favorite pizza places in the...
NICK JONAS
Favorite pizza places, yes. The place is called John's Pizza.
DAMARIS LEWIS
Here's John.
NICK JONAS
Yeah.

NICK JONAS

(OVERLAPPING) You know, we just got in for New York, you know? And um, (LAUGH)
NICK JONAS
From New York? Oh, it's a shirt, okay. As I said, I'm being kind of...

DAMARIS LEWIS
You're welcome. Nick is one of the (UNINTELLIGIBLE) proud, like, he has one of the biggest hearts out there. And he has a foundation called the Nicholas Jonas' Change For The Children Foundation. Can you tell us a little bit more about that?
NICK JONAS
Yeah. The Jonas Brothers' Change For The Children Foundation. It's, it's been an amazing outlet for us to be able to find things we're passionate about and, and get behind them and do what we can to help. So often we think we have each step figured out. About four and a half years ago when I got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, I fear what the future works. Obviously, my heart's in, in diabetes 'cause it is something that I live with every day. I made a commitment that I wouldn't let it slow me down. Raise a lot of, uh, money for research and, and also, um, raise awareness, which is also, I feel, just as important. We're all trying to get involved and do want we can to help. 'Cause I believe in you, and I want to thank all of you for believing in me.
DAMARIS LEWIS
So, you were on Broadway when you were younger, has that helped you in any kind of way with the solo tour?
NICK JONAS
All the theatrical shows and things I did really give me a good, a good training for what I'm doing now. Having that experience and, and, you know, even just realizing that it's a lot of responsibility to, to do a show like that and, and to have that, is, uh, is also important to what I'm doing now.
DAMARIS LEWIS
Your family, all of you are talented, your mom and your dad. How is that growing up in the musical household?
NICK JONAS
My dad, you know, being so talented as far as musicianship goes, was really helpful, um, for, for my learning experience in music, um, knowing there's someone I can talk to who could understand where I was coming from. So, it's nice.
DAMARIS LEWIS
Nick has recently done a shoot for V MAN. Coming into the whole model world, now how was that?
NICK JONAS
(OVERLAPPING) Oh, good. It was different, for sure. You know, I've done photo shoots with things before but, um, nothing like that. The people that I worked with were incredible with what they do. And clearly, they do this a lot. I was just humbled to be able to be a part of it. And, and to have two covers is fantastic and...
